Emmerdale's Gabby Thomas appears to have settled into life at Home Farm well recently, adapting to being a mother to baby Thomas and establishing a relatively stable relationship with Thomas' grandmother Kim Tate.
However, things haven't always been this way, as when Thomas' dad, Jamie Tate (Alexander Lincoln), was still on the scene, it looked like Gabby might be preparing to get embroiled in a battle for Home Farm against the Tates.
While Gabby seems to have settled down into Home Farm life since Jamie appeared to have died last year, Gabby has now discovered that Jamie faked his death, which could potentially bring her more ruthless side back to the fore as she tries to guard her and Thomas' position at Home Farm.

Actress Rosie Bentham, who plays Gabby, has spoken exclusively to Digital Spy about how her character has managed to strike a balance at Home Farm over the past few months, holding her own against Kim (Claire King).
"Gabby has found a good balance with Kim," she said. "She feels she can give her opinion to Kim and stand her ground, but also is wary about how far she can take it in disagreements without making Kim snap at her.
"Gabby is grateful for everything Kim has done for her, and she loves being at Home Farm.
"She seems to have become a mini-Kim, which I love playing. I think she's good at holding her ground and has negotiated her and Thomas' role in Home Farm very well."

But with Gabby having previously harboured ambitions to usurp Kim and claim greater control over Home Farm, could these desires come to the fore again?
Rosie reckons that, if Jamie were to reappear at Home Farm, Gabby's attitude could change very quickly.
"Right now Gabby is just enjoying motherhood and her status at Home Farm. She has been given financial freedom at such a young age, so she feels very secure," she explained.
"However, the one person who could change all of this for her is Jamie. If he was to come back and cause chaos, I feel that Gabby would be in the firing line.

"I feel this could bring back Gabby's nasty, scheming side as she would have to fight for her place at Home Farm, and most importantly fight for her son."
Rosie has already confirmed that Gabby will be "concerned about the safety of Thomas" if Jamie were to return, because she knows just how ruthless Jamie can be and she is "worried he could start a custody battle for Thomas if he does return".
Rattled Gabby has now teamed up with Dawn Fletcher (Olivia Bromley) in an attempt to discover the truth about Jamie, and Rosie has teased that the pair "end up finding something really shocking during their adventures".
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV and streams on the ITV Hub.
