Karlsson (lower body) will return to San Jose on Saturday to undergo further evaluation, Curtis Pashelka of The San Jose Mercury News reports.
Karlsson will miss the next two games at a minimum due to his lower-body injury. With Karlsson on the shelf, look for Ryan Merkley to enter the lineup Saturday versus the Stars.
