Howard-Winneshiek Superintendent Search Stakeholder’s Survey Ends Saturday

The search for the next superintendent of the Howard-Winneshiek School District is giving the public through Saturday (04.16) to provide their input.

Current Superintendent Ted Ihns (Inns) will be leaving Cresco to become  Superintendent for the Indianola School District starting July 1st. The search firm, McPherson and Jacobson, based in Omaha, is leading the search process to find his replacement and is conducting a school district stakeholder’s survey that is available through this Saturday. A link to the survey is available through the Howard-Winneshiek CSD Facebook page.

On Wednesday, search firm consultants also hosted a Community Input meeting for the public to weigh in on what qualities patrons want in the next superintendent to replace Ihns, who has been Howard-Winneshiek Superintendent since 2017.
