Here’s some casting news, NCIS fans!

Actress Teri Polo, perhaps best known as Stef Adams Foster from Freeform’s The Fosters, has been cast in an upcoming role of the hit series.

As per Deadline, Polo’s character, Vivian Kolchak, is connected to Gary Cole’s Alden Parker. Kolchak is Parker’s ex-wife, who used to also work at the FBI. However, after their divorce, she became a paranormal investigator for the Department of Defense.

Polo will make her debut in the season 19 finale which is set for May 23. She is expected to return in a recurring role for season 20.

Teri Polo cast for Season 19 finale of NCIS with a connection to Agent Parker

NCIS was renewed for season 20 back in March and this is the first bit of casting news we’ve received so far. As far as we know, all remaining actors on the show will be returning as well. Unfortunately, we’ll likely not be seeing Mark Harmon as Agent Gibbs.

Polo was recently featured in the short-lived FOX series, The Big Leap. It’ll be exciting to see what she brings to NCIS for the next season especially if she is investigating the paranormal. That could lead to some much needed comedic moments!

Besides her newest role on NCIS, Polo has had a recurring role on The Fosters spin-off Good Trouble. She has also been in the Meet the Parents movie franchise and the recent films JL Ranch and JL Family Ranch.

Even though we won’t see Polo as Vivian Kolchak for another month, fans can catch a new episode of NCIS on Monday, April 18 on CBS.

Yes, we know Kolchak sounds very similar to Arkady and Anna Kolchek from NCIS: Los Angeles. The very close spelling is likely the only relation between the characters, though it could lead to a fun crossover event one day!
