Hunter Biden and Jared Kushner ‘payday’ controversies compared

In the coming months, you're going to hear more and more about Hunter's laptop, and the incriminating evidence on it as it relates to Joe Biden. And as the heat turns up, you're also going to begin hearing about Jared Kushner's similar deals with Saudi Arabia, in counterpoint.

Here are the similarities between both.

Hunter Biden:
1. Received millions of dollars from Ukraine, and millions of dollars from China.
2. Openly acknowledged that his name is the only reason he was receiving this money.

Jared Kushner:
1.  Received billions of dollars from Saudi Arabia.
2.  Did so despite the Saudi panel expressing issues with Kushner's "inexperience."

Both are children of highly influential politicians, and have played the D.C. game.  Rich foreign powers buying favor from American politicians is a dirty, filthy pastime that did not begin with the Bidens, Trumps, or Pelosis, or Kerrys for that matter.  This is a long and dirty game that is difficult to reign in.

Therefore, both Kushner and Biden should absolutely be criticized and held accountable if they have crossed legal lines, and certainly given hard swift political kicks if they crossed ethical lines.  Selling access to America for personal gain is wrong.

However, there are stark differences between these two that should be noted.

1. Trump (and Kushner by association) was wealthy before entering politics.  The Bidens became wealthy after entering politics.
2. Kushner set up his fund last year, in a time when his father-in-law Donald Trump was neither in office nor running for office (but appears to have ambitions to run again).
3.  Hunter made his money while his father was a sitting U.S. Senator, and Vice President, and active presidential candidate.

But most importantly:

4.  Multiple times, Hunter references his father getting a cut of any money he received.  This is a direct line to Joe Biden.  That's illegal.

So while breaking ethical lines is shady and should absolutely be called out no matter which politician or party, legal lines are clearer, and when the mountain of evidence is publicly available as it is, not even the FBI can conceal these problems, now at the President's doorstep.
