Joshua Dun, left, and Tyler Joseph from Twenty One Pilots perform at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio, on Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2021. This show is the first of three hometown shows for the band this weekend.

Twenty One Pilots — the Grammy-winning duo currently made up of vocalist and guitarist Tyler Joseph and drummer Josh Dun, both of whom hail from Columbus — will be on movie screens soon.

“Twenty One Pilots Cinema Experience” is an extended cut of the duo’s earlier livestreamed concert occasioned by the release of their 2021 record “Scaled and Icy.” The film will feature 20 minutes of new footage not seen as part of the original livestream.
