NEPHI, Utah-Porter Bowles homered twice and the Juab Wasps pounded North Sanpete 12-2 in Region 14 baseball play Thursday. Wyatt Payton, Austin Park, Tryker Greenhalgh and Cooper Ford also homered in victory for the Wasps. Andy Bailey went yard in the loss for the Hawks.

2A Central
BICKNELL, Utah-Raven Pickett, Kennedi Knudsen and Maile Ha’O each homered and the Gunnison Valley Bulldogs routed Wayne 19-6 in the first game of a 2A Central softball doubleheader Thursday. Lexee Keisel earned the win in the circle for the Bulldogs. McKayla Jones had 3 RBI in defeat for the Badgers.
BICKNELL, Utah-Maile Ha’O homered twice and Kennedi Knudsen also went yard as the Gunnison Valley Bulldogs completed a 2A Central doubleheader sweep of Wayne with an 18-3 win Thursday. Knudsen earned the win in the circle for the Bulldogs, posting seven strikeouts in three innings of work. McKayla Jones drove in three runs for the Badgers in the loss.
Non-Region
NEPHI, Utah-Averie Snyder drove in three runs and the South Summit Wildcats bested Juab 12-2 in non-region softball action Thursday. Oakley Bosh and Hailey Poulson each drove in a run for the Wasps in the loss.
MT. PLEASANT, Utah-Haven Byerly posted 2 RBI and the Carbon Dinos downed North Sanpete 7-4 Thursday in non-region softball play. Tenley Madsen posted seven strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Dinos.
