Loni Love On Why You Won’t See Her Tie The Knot: 'I Don’t Like Marriage'

The comedian and talk show host is opening up about her personal decision to forgo the wedding bell experience.

Loni Love is getting real surrounding her thoughts about marriage and children. While chatting with Yahoo Life about love and relationships, the talk show host opened up about her personal decision to forgo the wedding bell experience.

"I don’t like marriage,” Love, 50, candidly shared on a recent episode of Unapologetically. “If that’s what you want, then that’s fine, but we are living in more modern times now, where women can be a lot more independent and they can still have the love they want.”

The famous comedian went on to explain, "I really believe in marriage for women that have children with someone, but not for me…I’m good.”

On the topic of having children, Love revealed that although she doesn’t want any of her own, she thoroughly enjoys being “Auntie Loni.”

She also enjoys spending time with her boyfriend James Welsh and his grandchildren.

"I’m a grandmother. James has four grandchildren, two that are here. We take them out, we have a really good time," she shared. “That fulfills my maternal instincts.”

Cheers to living your best life on your own terms! We respect her perspective and hope you do the same.

FYI: Love and Welsh have been in a loving relationship for four years.
