The Nuggets will be without Facu Campazzo for the opening game of their Western Conference playoff series against Golden State on Saturday.

The veteran guard was suspended one game Wednesday for “forcefully shoving”  Los Angeles Lakers guard Wayne Ellington from behind during the teams’ regular-season finale Sunday at Ball Arena, the league announced.

Campazzo was assessed a flagrant foul 2 and immediately ejected after the shove, which came with 7:24 left in the first half of an eventual 146-141 overtime loss to the Lakers.

Ellington was fined $20,000 for “escalating the incident with a threatening comment on social media,” according to the league. Ellington posted a tweet saying, “When I see you I’m putting my hands on you. @facucampazzo,” post game.
