• Mike Bard and Jason Wright had 11.60 pounds and big bass with a 5.61 pounder to win first place during the Freedom Bass Anglers tournament April 9 at Lake Alfred. Jeff Jones and Mike Carroll took second place with 10.74 pounds. Chad Lehman and Kip Lehman took third place with 10.34 pounds.

• Daniel Pitts and Mitch McGill had a seven fish aggregate of 10.44 pounds to win first place during the Sunshine State Crappie Trail tournament April 9 on Crescent Lake. Sam Cooper was second with 10.10 pounds. George Parker and Rosie Parker were third with 9.81 pounds. Jack Smith and Russell Coxs had big fish with a 1.81 pounder.

• Jim Sellers and Lisa Van had 10.64 pounds and big bass with a 6.01 pounder to win the MacDill Bass Busters tournament April 9 on Lake Henderson. Darryl Adams and Larry Garrett, Jr. took second place with 8.27 pounds. Zack Myers and Jon Talha took third place with 7.46 pounds.

• Tracy Bray and Jason Liggett had 26.49 pounds to win the Xtreme Bass Series Kissimmee Division tournament April 10 on Lake Kissimmee. Casey Gonzalez and John Stahl took second place with 22.96 pounds and also had big bass with an 8.63 pounder. Lonnie Mead and Jim Topmiller took third place with 22.31 pounds.

• John White and Tanner White had 23.06 pounds and big bass with an 8.43 pounder to win to win the Thursday Night Open Series tournament April 7 at Lake Juliana. Kevin McSwain and Brandon Robinson took second place with 18.97 pounds. Ron Dowdy and Hunter Dowdy placed third with 17.70 pounds.

• Dave Graham and Keith Butts had 25.47 pounds to win first place in the Kissimmee Bass Series Senior tournament April 8 on the Kissimmee Chain. Richard Carter and Todd Smith were second with 20.92 pounds. Reggie Bush had big bass with a 6.88 pounder.

• Arthuro Cisneros and Ismael Garcia had 19.30 pounds to win the Mosaic Bass Club tournament April 9 on Lake Ariana. Jared Mitchell and Sean Roustio took second place with 18.24 pounds. Kevin Jordan and Candace Jordan took third place with 16.84 pounds. Sean Roustio had big bass with a 5.30 pounder.

• John White and Tanner White had 11.64 pounds and big bass with a 6.76 pounder to win the Fishing Misfits’ tournament April 9 at Lake Kissimmee. Robbie McGohan and Bryan Howard took second place with 11.46 pounds. Dennis Minton and Keith Brown took third place with 11.45 pounds.

• Ora Cobb had 16.52 pounds and big bass with a 5.51 pounder to win first place during Winter Haven Lunker Lovers’ tournament April 10 on the Harris Chain of Lakes. Stacy Thomas was second with 12.53 pounds. Lucky Wells was third with 11.74 pounds. Tanner Scarborough was fourth with 11.02 pounds.

• Eddie Yearry and Dustin Bailey to win the Polk County Bass Anglers Club tournament April 9 on Lake Juliana. Gabe Rivera with took second place with 11.32 pounds and also had big bass with a 4.45 pounder.

• Eric Gaines and Jefferie French had 29.16 pounds to win the Xtreme Bass Series Istokpoga Division tournament April 3 on Lake Istokpoga. Brad Day and Brian Desormi took second place with 25.87 pounds. Greg Jones and Kyle Wieczorek took third place with 23.30 pounds. Steve Coleman and Demetri Hart had big bass with an 8.33 pounder.

• The next Polk County Bass Assassin’s tournament is April 16 on Eagle Lake. Entry fee is $40 per boat including big bass. Time is safe light to 2 p.m. The club is accepting new members. • The next Pond Jumpers Tournament Trail event is April 16 on Lake Marion out of Bannon’s Fish Camp. There is a $20 member fee to join and $60 tournament fee. • The Lakeland Bassmasters’ Team Trail tournament is April 16 at Crooked Lake out of the county ramp on Little Crooked. Entry fee is $80 per angler and $20 for big bass. • The 4th Annual Battle of the Bass Tournament benefiting Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay is May 21 on the Kissimmee Chain out of Camp Mack. The tournament Entry fee is $200 per boat for two anglers with $20 optional big bass fee. A $5,000 first place prize is guaranteed. Registration begins a 5 a.m. and time is safe daylight to 3 p.m. Anglers may register online or on site prior to the tourney. However, after May 13 entry fee will be $240.
