Former Heat Forward Antoine Walker is ok with The NBA Play-in scenario but not total great with it stating, “I like the 7,8 old format, the 9,10 teams out West, looking at their record, they probably should not be in the playoffs.”

Walker was a little weary when The Heat had a public spat during a timeout a few weeks ago, saying, “There is a difference from competing on the court but sometimes things carry over to the locker room.”

It was in the end a good thing for Miami in Walker’s estimating, saying, “If you look at The Heat, I think that energized them.”

When it comes to players sitting out games for rest or other miscellaneous reasons, Walker thinks, “You may want to start putting in contracts that they have to play eighty-five percent of games.”

LeBron James claims he wants to stay in L.A. but if the team is bad would he still stay?  Walker says, Maybe it is about finishing out his career having fun.”

A lot of people are looking for Brooklyn to upset a high seed in the early playoffs but Walker is not seeing it stating, “I like all the 1 and 2 seeds to advance to the 2nd round with no problems.”

He also has no worries for The Heat saying, “Eric Spoelstra is a top three coach in The NBA.”

Maimi opens playoff play Sunday and a TBD opponent at a TBD time.
