Carlo was hurt midway through the first period of the contest. The defenseman didn't return during the second and probably won't be back for the rest of the game. He's logged a goal and two assists in his last nine outings as a mostly defensive presence in the top four. His status should be updated before Thursday's game versus the Senators.
