Emmerdale star Emma Atkins was "devastated" when she turned up for what she thought was Charley Webb's birthday party, but it turned out to be her secret wedding to Matthew Wolfenden.
The soap actress, who is best known for playing Charity Dingle, was dressed and ready for what she thought was Webb's 30th birthday celebrations, before she was asked to be one of the bridesmaids.
In an interview with OK! Magazine, she said: "I was gutted because I didn't look that great, and she had told me, 'Make sure you come looking great', and I thought, 'Alright, it's only a 30th'.

"When I turned out to be one of the bridesmaids, I was absolutely devastated."
Over 100 guests turned up at Ripley Castle in Harrogate for the event back in 2018 and were surprised with the news that the party was actually a wedding.
The change of occasion left Atkins feeling underdressed as she had chosen to wear a black smock dress embroidered with flowers and tights and boots.
Even though she wasn’t happy with her outfit, Atkins admitted that the day was "brilliant."

Webb and Wolfenden tied the knot in 2018 after meeting on the ITV set 15 years ago, and now have three children together.
In the same interview, Atkins and co-star Lucy Pargeter also let slip some behind-the-scenes secrets from the set.
Pargeter admitted she has an "embarrassing" habit of being unable to control her "wind" to the point of being "told off" by the crew about it.
She explained: "My wind just happens, it just comes out, so I was told off by somebody for not putting a mask on when I burp, so that was really quite embarrassing."
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV and streams on the ITV Hub.
