Pompano Beach Jazz Fest offers free tickets

Renowned international and local performers are among in the exciting slate of artists featured at Jazz Fest Pompano Beach.  Jazz Fest is part of Lauderdale Art Week.

Jazz Fest Pompano Beach in 2024 is January 18-20 with some performances at the beach. Food vendors and art vendors are featured at the events. Entry is free, and registration online is requested for tickets. VIP tickets are offered for purchase.

Performers include:

  • Saxophonist Branford Marsalis, Grammy award winner
  • Saxophonist and flautist Najee, Grammy award winner
  • others including popular regional group Valerie Tyson Band

Jazz Fest Pompano Beach 2024

  • 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, January 18. Valerie Tyson Band, popular regional band with a style that includes Top 40 hits, R&B favorites, and smooth jazz.

Venue: Pompano Beach cultural center, 50 W. Atlantic Blvd. 33060.

  • 5:30 to 10 p.m. Friday, January 19. Grammy winners Najee and David Sanchez. Sanchez's style is described as a “blending of … rhythms from his Puerto Rican upbringing with jazz influences.” The performance starts at 8 p.m.

Venue: Great Lawn at the beach, 3501 E. Atlantic Blvd.,  Pompano Beach, 33062.

  • 5:30 to 10 p.m. Saturday, January 20. Lisa Fischer & Grand Baton, and Grammy winning saxophonist Branford Marsalis.

On Friday and Saturday, the food court will open at 4 p.m. on the beach. Vendors include Baresco, Beach House, BurgerFi, How You Brewin, Cannoli Kitchen Pizza, Kilwins, Lucky Fish and Oceanic.
