The Witcher actress Adjoa Andoh is unsure about her character's season 3 involvement.
Andoh joined the cast of Netflix's monstrous fantasy series in season 2, appearing as the high priestess Nenneke, an old pal of Geralt's (played by Henry Cavill), in two episodes of the latest season.
But with the third season now in production, shouldn't she have heard by now whether she's returning for another stint?

"Yeah, I don't know," Andoh told RadioTimes when asked about a possible return. "We'll see. The books are so huge. And they've gone so many different ways in the stories.
"Nenneke is in the books a lot. But it depends what they want to do with, you know, this version of it. It's totally about what the creators of the show want to do with the material from the books and how they want to swing that, and so we'll wait and see."
Season 3 is set to chart the events of author Andrzej Sapkowski's 1995 novel Time of Contempt, the second novel in the Witcher saga.

As for what fans can expect from the show's next batch of episodes, here's an official synopsis: "As monarchs, mages and beasts of the Continent compete to capture her, Geralt takes Ciri of Cintra into hiding, determined to protect his newly-reunited family against those who threaten to destroy it.
"Entrusted with Ciri's magical training, Yennefer leads them to the protected fortress of Aretuza, where she hopes to discover more about the girl's untapped powers; instead, they discover they've landed in a battlefield of political corruption, dark magic and treachery. They must fight back, put everything on the line - or risk losing each other forever."
