Simmonds has periodically served as a healthy scratch this season, so his potential absence for Tuesday's matchup with Buffalo is unlikely to significantly impact the majority of fantasy players. Even if he does suit up versus the Sabres, the 33-year-old Simmonds won't offer much in the way of fantasy value considering he has just one goal in his last 36 contests.
