Weaver was placed on the 10-day injured list due to elbow inflammation Sunday.
Weaver made his season debut Thursday out of the bullpen due to a blister he developed on his thumb that sidelined him during spring training. However, he may now be dealing with a more serious issue, and he will be sidelined for at least the next 10 days.
