“The Producers” will take the stage at the North Fork Community Theatre in Mattituck on three weekends in May.

Mel Brooks’ musical features a scheming bombastic producer and mild-mannered accountant that hope to produce the biggest flop on Broadway so they can swindle millions of dollars. However, things go awry when their show is a hit. The show book is by Mel Brooks and Thomas Meehan with music and lyrics by Mel Brooks.

Show dates and times are: Thursday, May 12 through Sunday, May 15, Thursday, May 19 through Sunday, May 22 and Thursday, May 26 through Sunday, May 29 at 8 p.m. on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays and Sundays at 2:30 p.m.

Tickets cost $25 and can be purchased through the Brown Paper Tickets website.
