Damir Kreilach Gives Real Salt Lake Halftime Advantage Against Toronto FC

SALT LAKE CITY – Midfielder Damir Kreilach gave Real Salt Lake a halftime lead with a goal late in the first half against Toronto FC.
RSL hosted Toronto at Rio Tinto Stadium on Saturday, April 9.
During the 43rd minute of action, Maikel Chang sent the ball into the box for Kreilach.
After a quick bounce, the Real Salt Lake captain buried the ball into the back of the net to give his club a 2-1 lead.

The goal gave RSL a 2-1 halftime lead.

It was Kreilach’s first goal of the 2022 season.
Kreilach entered the match with two shots in three matches this year.
Last season, the MLS All-Star had 16 goals, nine assists, 74 shots, and 39 shots on goal in 33 appearances.

RSL’s first goal of the match came during the seventh minute of game time on a kick from Justin Meram.
Toronto quickly responded with a game-tying goal in the ninth minute.
