Dauris Lee Brown passed away on April 4, 2022 at the age of 91. He was born on June 9, 1930 in Crawford, OK to the late Carl and Vauda Brown.

He graduated from Crawford High School in 1949 and helped on the family farm until he enlisted in the United States Air Force in July 1950. While in the military he received the Korean Service Medal, UN Service Medal, Korean Presidential Unit Citation, Good Conduct Medal, and National Defense Service Medal. He was honorably discharged on December 16, 1953. He then continued to help his parents on the family farm until his employment at Safeway in Clinton, OK. On December 24, 1955, he married the girl from the farm separated by the barbed wire fence. From this union came two daughters and two sons. He was employed by Phillips Petroleum Company from 1956 to 1986. During the course of their marriage, they lived in Dumas, TX, Borger, TX, Fritch, TX, Amarillo, TX, Perry, OK, and Mustang, OK where Joanne currently resides.

He is preceded in death by his parents Carl and Vauda Brown, infant brother Carl Jr., infant sister Natalie Marie, and brother Wilbur Leon Brown.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years Joanne Brown, daughter Pam Foster and husband Brad of Fort Worth, TX, daughter Penny Murrow of Mustang, OK, son Paul Brown and wife Katherine of Harvest, AL, son Perry Brown and wife Natalie of Brentwood, CA; grandchildren April Maxwell and fiancé Ed Newman, Amanda Chapman and husband Cody, James Hudson and wife Mariah, Jezire Akin and husband Brent, Tyler Brown, Dauril Brown, Jared Brown and wife Jordan, Dalen Brown and wife Emilie, Dara Diamond and husband Jordan, Maddie Brown, Sarah Neis, and Colin Brown; great granddaughters Maddie, Malaya, Emmy, Asher and baby Naomi (due in May 2022); and great grandsons Miles, Brooks, and Pecos.
