Hernangomez accumulated 17 points (5-8 FG, 7-7 FT), 14 rebounds, one assist and one steal in 26 minutes during Thursday's 127-94 win over the Trail Blazers.

With Jonas Valanciunas coming into Thursday nursing an ankle injury, Hernangomez saw plenty of court time once the Pelicans had the game well in hand, and he turned it into his second straight double-double. The 27-year-old center has demonstrated he can be productive when he gets the opportunity, and with New Orleans all but locked into the ninth seed in the Western Conference and a spot in the play-in tournament, Hernangomez could see big minutes over the final two games of the regular season as well if Valanciunas gets additional rest ahead of the postseason.
