Manager Rocco Baldelli said Wednesday that Gordon (head) should be ready for Friday's season opener against the Mariners, Do-Hyoung Park of MLB.com reports.

Gordon passed concussion testing after his outfield collision in Monday's Grapefruit League game. He didn't appear to be in line for a lengthy absence, and he'll ultimately be available once the regular season gets underway Friday. Gordon slashed .333/.385/.583 with a home run, a triple, a double, nine RBI, five runs and a stolen base across 11 spring appearances, and he's in line to play a depth role to begin the 2022 campaign.
