But after all that, Edouard Mendy has just made a sickening mistake to cost his team a goal.

Chelsea had the pressure on, and they somehow contrived to get the ball all the way back to Mendy, who scuffed his square pass short of Antonio Rudiger, who wasn’t able to beat Karim Benzema to the ball.
