Borussia Dortmund are said to be keeping tabs on TSG Hoffenheim left-back David Raum with a view to a potential move for him in 2023.

David Raum has been one of the breakout stars in the Bundesliga this season. The 23 year old joined TSG Hoffenheim from Greuther Fürth last summer, and has since established himself as one of the league’s top full-backs. His performances have seen him attract the interest of a number of big clubs. And according to SportBILD, Borussia Dortmund are also keeping an eye on him.

The magazine claims that while Borussia Dortmund are not thinking about signing Raum this summer, they could look to make a move for him in 2023. WAZ also reported earlier this week that Dortmund are looking to sign a new full-back.

Raphael Guerreiro, who is currently Borussia Dortmund’s first choice left-back, will be out of contract at the end of next season. Although it was reported in January that Dortmund would like to extend the Portuguese international’s contract.

SportBILD add that Raum can also imagine joining Borussia Dortmund. But the German international’s contract with Hoffenheim runs until the end of the 2025/26 season. So the Black and Yellows will likely have to spend a lot of money if they want to sign him.
