Knight got the win in relief after replacing an ineffective Sergei Bobrovsky early in the second period of Tuesday's 7-6 overtime win over Toronto. He stopped 19 of 21 shots.

Knight has appeared in each of Florida's last three games, sandwiching a start between two relief appearances. A furious Florida comeback got him into the win column in his previous relief outing, and the Panthers erased the 4-1 deficit Knight inherited in this one to earn him a third consecutive victory and the fifth in his last six decisions. Bobrovsky has had a brilliant season as Florida's starter, but he appears to be embarking on a late-season slump, which could lead to an outsize role for Knight down the stretch.
