The new KBS 2TV Kdrama Bloody Heart is directed by Yoo Young-Eun and written by Park Pil-Joo. The series will star former MBLAQ member Lee Joon and Start-Up actress Kang Han Na.

Bloody Heart Storyline
Bloody Heart is an upcoming fictional historical drama that will depict the story of Lee Tae, a king who has no choice but abandon the woman he loves in order to survive, and Yoo Jung, a woman whose only option to live is to become the queen.
The latest teaser video gives a glimpse of the bloody political romance that will occur between the two leads, with a young Lee Tae wearing mourning clothes and then transitioning to the present when he becomes the king.
Park Gye-won appears, coldly witnessing the fights and deaths of innocent villagers. He transforms the scene instantly, with a young Yoo Jung crying as she gets dragged to jail.
In between the brutal events, Lee Tae declares his urge to continue to live his life. “I am going to survive and dry out the blood of those who have bored holes in people precious to me,” he says regretfully.
He then turns to Yoo Jung and says, “So please, you have to live, too. Please hang in there and live. My queen, whose life I have ruined.”

Bloody Heart Cast
Lee Joon will lead the new Kdrama Bloody Heart as Lee Tae, the new king of Joseon, after his father King Seonjong dies. Lee Tae hopes to bring an absolute monarchy and become the most powerful king compared to his soft-hearted father.
Kang Han Na will portray the character of Yoo Jung, a free-spirited woman who successfully had Lee Tae fall head over heels. Because of this, she becomes the Crown Princess and gets involved in the chaotic battle for power.
Bloody Heart will also star Jang Hyuk as Park Gye-won, the first vice-premier who is a living emblem of authority and a character that everyone obeys and respects.
Park Gye-won is called a “kingmaker” as he dedicates his life to producing a smart and benevolent king so that a tyrant does not upset the foundations of Joseon ever again.

Bloody Heart Release Date And Time
Bloody Heart is set to be released on May 2, 2022 at 9:30 PM KST. The imminent KBS 2TV Kdrama will replace Crazy Love on its timeslot. New episodes for the series will air every Monday and Tuesday.
