the citizens of Omaha's have Endured many struggles over the last two years. And the same, of course is true of our state, thankfully. We are now all moving into a period of recovery, reinvestment, and rebuilding and we're also in a period at the state level of electing a new governor. The task at hand is a monumental one and the coming years will require thoughtful, steadfast, committed leadership in my mind. The best candidate to serve as our next governor is Brent Lindstrom and that is why I am endorsing him today, Brett has the experience, the vision and the proven record to lead our state through the next phase. He has strong and positive vision for our state and leadership skills to make this vision a reality. We need to look no further than at the role he has played in the last legislative session, working to pass meaningful tax reform, which is, it's so important to all of us. He has led the effort to and two in taxation of Social Security benefits, and this is one of the key legislators spearheading lb 8 73 which will provide property tax relief while reducing both the individual and corporate tax rates.
