Prior to Werenski's three-game absence due to his upper-body injury, the defenseman was tearing it up with two goals and seven assists in his last 11 contests, including a trio of power-play points. The 24-year-old Michigan native should jump right back into the top pairing and No. 1 unit with the man advantage.
