Ferraro notched an assist, four hits and a minus-2 rating in Saturday's 5-4 loss to the Stars.
Ferraro logged 21:54 of ice time in his return from a 15-game absence due to a broken leg. He ended up returning about a week earlier than initially expected -- impressive, considering the Sharks had little need to rush him back. The defenseman is up to 12 points, 38 shots on net, 105 hits and 128 blocked shots through 49 appearances. He probably won't add a lot of offense, but his physical play is among the best in the league. Ferraro will likely log top-four minutes for the rest of the season.
