Plesac allowed two hits and a walk while striking out four over three scoreless innings in Friday's 5-1 win over the Diamondbacks.

This was Plesac's best start of the spring so far as he gets ramped up for a spot in the rotation this season. A thumb injury cost him time in 2021, but he's fully healthy heading into 2022. The right-hander had a 4.67 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 100:34 K:BB across 142.2 innings in 25 starts last season. Plesac is a gamble in fantasy -- his best season came in a small sample in 2020, while his other two major-league campaigns have been much more pedestrian. If Eli Morgan or Sam Hentges show well, they could be options to replace Plesac in the rotation if he has another uneven season.
