Barrie helped out on the first of Connor McDavid's two goals in the game. The assist was Barrie's second in the last three outings since he snapped a four-game drought. The 30-year-old defenseman is up to 32 points, 122 shots on net and a minus-1 rating in 60 contests, well off the pace of his 48-point campaign form 56 appearances last season.
