EastEnders and Coronation Street star Michelle Collins has made the exciting announcement of her engagement this week.
The soap actress revealed that her partner of 10 years, Mike Davidson, had proposed to her whilst on a trip to Los Angeles via an Instagram post.
Collins shared a selection of photos of her ring and the couple together, telling followers how Davidson got down on one knee in picturesque scenery to make the moment special.

"So this happened in LA. He got down on bended knee while we were on the top of Temescal Canyon, basically no one else around, just us," she captioned the post. "It's beautiful and I'm happy. 10 years this April, about time I think."
Friends and fans were quick to congratulate the happy couple, with fellow Coronation Street star Michelle Keegan, Holby City's Laila Rouass and Strictly Come Dancing professional Johannes Radebe sharing messages of "congratulations".
Call the Midwife's Lisa George added: "Congratulations!!!! So happy for you!".

Collins is best known for playing Cindy Beale, the first wife of Ian Beale, on Eastenders in 1988. She would remain on the soap until a decade later when her character was killed off, taking a brief two year break between 1990-92.
She later appeared in Coronation Street as Stella Price, landlady of the famous Rovers' Return, from 2011 to 2014.
Besides these two soaps, Collins has had a guest role in another soap, Casualty, as well as Midsomer Murders and Doctor Who. Her most recent TV appearance was on Celebrity MasterChef in 2021.
