Elida Reyna, Lucky Joe to perform at Buc Days opening night

Buc Days will be here sooner than you expect, and the Buccaneer Commission announced Friday two performers for the opening night.

Latin Grammy Award winner Elida Reyna and Tejano Music Award winner Lucky Joe will take the Buckin' Marlin Stage Thursday, May 5.

Lucky Joe will take the stage at 7 p.m. and Elida Reyna at 9 p.m.

Lucky Joe is a multi-Tejano Music Award winner and a two-time Latin Grammy nominee.

The performances are part of a partnership between Buc Days and Telemundo Corpus Christi to bring “Celebración Buc Days Cinco de Mayo presentada por Telemundo Corpus Christi."

May 5 will also be Dollar Night, where gate tickets and carnival rides are just $1.
