Emmerdale's Rosie Bentham teases Gabby's christening week shock

Emmerdale's Gabby Thomas is going to have a drama-filled time next week, as baby Thomas' christening arrives.

Kim Tate wants to delay it so Millie can come, and there's a big clash over that.

As the day begins, Gabby heads off to a mysterious location, and there she gets a massive shock that you'll have to wait to find out what it is.

Whatever the twist is, it took Gabby actress Rosie Bentham by surprise.

"I was not expecting this twist at all so I know the audience will be shocked," she said. "It's really interesting. It's left quite open about what's going to happen.

"I will be watching. I can't wait to read people's reactions. I haven't told my mum and she watches it every night and I already know what her text will say: 'What? How?'"

Speaking about why this christening is so important for Gabby, Rosie said: "It's important because her dad had a strong faith, he had the church in the village. She wants it to be the date she selected because it's the anniversary of Ashley's death and it will be nice for the family to get together.

"Arthur has three grandmas fighting over him. At the same time Gabby chooses Arthur to be godfather, he has a really good reaction to that. Liv and Vinny are the other godparents. She's got it all planned out to be this special day."

While Kim is the main obstacle here, because she's paying for the christening, she's not the only one involved in a major argument, as Rosie explained: "This week starts with some funny scenes with Bernice, Laurel and Kim all these strong women at Home Farm and they're all fighting."
