Deadpool star Zazie Beetz is hopeful that her mutant mercenary Domino will appear in the third movie.
She debuted as the Marvel character four years ago in Deadpool 2, opposite Ryan Reynolds and Josh Brolin (who played Cable), but Domino's future remains uncertain as the third film lingers in the development stage.
Beetz told Screen Rant: "I am so excited. I am crossing my fingers, hoping that Domino will be a part of this and if not, that's also all good.

"But it's just such a great crew, such a great team. I just love Deadpool. I love Domino so much. If it's not this, maybe I'll do my own Domino origins or something like that.
"I would love to do something in that space and face that fear, honestly. So yeah, I'm excited. But we'll see what happens," she added.
The 'team' referenced here may include director Shawn Levy, who's reportedly attached to the movie after wrangling Reynolds' magic in both Free Guy and The Adam Project.

This isn't the first time the Joker actress has addressed Domino's future in Deadpool's orbit, either.
"I would love to revive the role. That was always in the world of what was potentially going to happen. I haven't had any specific conversations around it. But I'm interested," Beetz said in March 2021.
"Not only would I love to revive the role, I would love to figure out a way to make a Domino movie or something like that. We'll see what happens, but I haven't had any personal conversations."
Let's hope Deadpool 3 writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick make her dream a reality.
Deadpool and Deadpool 2 are streaming now on Disney+, and also available on digital download, DVD and Blu-ray.
