HERE WITH THE LATEST ON THIS. ABBY, SEVERAL FIRE DEPARTMENTS ARE BATTLING THIS GHRIT NOW. ABIGAIL: GUYS, THAT IS EXACTLY RIGHT. IT HAS BEEN BURNING FOR 24 HOURS NOW IN THE NORTHWEST PART OF ROGER MILLS COUNTY. THE EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT SAID TASK FORCES AND DEPARTMENTS FROM ACROSS OKLAHOMA AND TEXAS ARE ON SCENE TO HELP. CREWS WERE THERE THROUGHOUT THE NIGHT. WE GOT THIS VIDEO FROM TY GARDNER. HE IS WITH THE LOYAL VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMEN YOU SEE IT ON THE RIGHT-HAND SIDE OF YOUR SCREEN. THEY DID SAY THAT HOME, BY THE WAY. A PLANE WAS ALSO BROUGHT IN TO HELP CREWS FIGURE HOW LARGE THE FIRE IS AND COORDINATE EFFORTS. THE LAOKHOMA NATIONAL GUARD AIR SUPPORT ALSO CALLED IN TO HELP, TOO. SOME PEOPLE DID EVACUATE THEIR HOMES YESTERDAY, BUT THEY HAVE SINCE BEEN ALLOWED BACK. WE DO OWKN THE FIRE BURNED ONE HOME. NO WORD TONIGHT ON WHAT ELSE HAS BEEN DAMAG

In Roger Mills County, a fire has raged on for 24 hours now near the border with Texas.

Several fire departments are still fighting a fire in western Oklahoma.In Roger Mills County, a fire has raged on for 24 hours now. Overnight, crews still were fighting the fire that broke out on Tuesday, including task forces and departments from Oklahoma and Texas.>> Related: Evacuations issued in Roger Mills County due to wildfiresEmergency management said Oklahoma Forestry requested an airplane to map the area to help coordinate firefighting efforts. The Oklahoma National Guard air support was also called in to help.The fire prompted evacuations around 4 p.m. Tuesday afternoon with the National Weather Service out of Norman issuing a fire warning. So far, one home has been lost in the fire and no reports of injuries.In an update from emergency management, they had several fires go up at the same time but all fires except the Durham fire are out and being monitored.
