California is pausing efforts to put in place a statewide COVID vaccine mandate.  Democrats in Sacramento are holding a bill that would have mandated vaccines for anyone working in the State of California.  The Sacramento Bee says the Assembly member proposing the law received opposition from public safety unions.  Assembly Bill 1993 would have required all workers to provide proof of vaccination by January 1st, and companies that did not follow the mandate would have faced penalties from the state.
