The Secret Sisters—Laura and Lydia Rogers—grapple with love and loss on new album Saturn Return the Alabama-based duo’s second release for New West Records. Like its predecessor, 2017’s Grammy-nominated You Don’t Own Me Anymore, the record was produced by Brandi Carlile and Phil and Tim Hanseroth.

April 5-7 | Books Along the Teche Literary Festival | Iberia Parish
Literary Festival with a focus on Great Southern Writers, highlighting Iberia Parish authors and others who write about the unique culture of Louisiana. Events include cooking demonstrations, workshops on writing, book fairs, academic symposiums, receptions, poetry, music, live oak walks, movie screenings, children's activities, readers' theater, and more.

Boot Brew Fest is your chance to learn about the homebrewing process directly from the brewers while tasting samples of their efforts. You must be 21 years or older to purchase this ticket and sample.

The country's largest non-ticketed outdoor Francophone festival celebrates the connections between Acadiana and the Francophone world. Hundreds of performing and visual artists from multiple countries converge on stages across Downtown Lafayette for five days of world music.

Now - September 28 | Bending Lines: Robert Wiggs | Hilliard Art Museum
Robert Wiggs was a sculptor and educator who shaped the aesthetic agenda of Acadiana, which started in 1965 when UL was still known as the University of Southwestern Louisiana. Wiggs is known for his unique brand of abstraction based on keen observations of the natural world. He retired in 1987, the same year he discovered the ninth all-space-filling polyhedron he named the "Twist Octahedron."

EVERY|WHERE: BEILI LIU is comprised of three works of art. Each explores our relationship to water in different ways that raise fundamental questions about art and how we understand each other's lived experiences.

The iconic silhouette motifs of Ana Mendieta's career represent meaningful relationships between humans and land. Filmed in Iowa, Fundamento de Palo Monte: Silueta Series (Gunpowder Works) reflects the artist's reality as a Cuban exile living in the United States.
