Home and Away star Sam Frost has revealed that she's dating someone new.

The actress, who is best known for playing Jasmine Delaney on the Australia soap, appeared on Nova FM's Fitzy and Wippa.

The typically private actress opened up about her love life, as she teased: "Yeah, look… I'm seeing someone."

Radio host Ryan 'Fitzy' Fitzgerald replied: "You're about as red as a beetroot, so you must really like him."

Fitzy then started to quiz the actress about how she met her new man, and she said: "I actually met him… he's friends with my brother."

Sam's brother Alex Frost is also in the spotlight after he was a contestant on Australian Survivor this year.

She explained: "I called my brother up and I said, 'So, is he single or what?' He's like, "Oh, don't be weird… that's so embarrassing."

Fitzy asked if her new man was the same age as her 26-year-old brother and she added: "He's younger!"

Previously, Frost was in a relationship with Instant Hotel star Jay Bruno before they broke it off in November 2021.

Frost was also engaged to Blake Garvey in 2014, after they won season 2 of The Bachelor when Garvey chose her as his partner.

The actress left the long-running Australian soap opera in December, but is still appearing in current episodes as the series is filmed several months in advance.

Frost revealed that she left her "dream job" on Home and Away to focus on her mental health and take some time out to spend with her family.

In an Instagram post she explained: "I quit my dream job at Home & Away to look after my mental health. I needed to take a step back, go home and be with my family. And most importantly take good care of my health and well-being."

"I now spend the days with the people I love, doing the things I've always wanted to do but couldn't because I was too busy working. I spent 4.5 years being a distant friend, a distant girlfriend, a sister who couldn't be there for big milestone moments.

"Now, I'm making up for lost time. I'm prioritising my health and my relationships."

Home and Away airs weekdays at 1.15pm on Channel 5 and 6pm on 5STAR. First look screenings air at 6.30pm on 5STAR and the show also streams on My5.

Selected classic episodes are available via Amazon Prime Video in the UK.
