CARRINGTON, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The NDSU Extension Service in Foster County is exploring the potential for a community garden in the Central City.

Extension Agent Jeff Gale says there’s nothing quite as satisfying as growing your own fresh vegetables in a home garden, but some don’t have access to a suitable garden space.

“We’re hoping to change that in Carrington,” Gale stated. “The Foster County Commissioners have asked me to determine how many residents are interested to have a plot in a community garden. If there is enough response, we hope to have the garden plots ready by mid-May.”

For more information or to reserve a plot, you can contact NDSU Extension Agent Jeff Gale. Call him at (701) 652-2581 or email jeff.gale@ndsu.edu
