Almora was removed from Tuesday's Cactus League game due to shoulder soreness, Bobby Nightengale of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
Almora went 1-for-1 with a walk and a run scored prior to exiting Tuesday's exhibition versus the Rangers. The 27-year-old inked a minor-league deal with the Reds last week and is unlikely to make the Opening Day roster, even if he can quickly return from the shoulder issue.
