NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Mayor Eric Adams has a message for New Yorkers who've fled for the Sunshine State: you're missing one helluva party up here.
“There are two types of people on the globe, those who live in New York and those who wish they could," Adams said at the Bilt Rewards x Wells Fargo Private Launch Event at the Summit at One Vanderbilt Tuesday night. Wyclef Jean and A$AP Rocky performed there.
"Let me tell you when you have my brother Wyclef ... nobody does it like Wyclef," Adams said at the event, held on the 91st through 93rd floors of the skyscraper. "You are standing on top of the world right now, One Vanderbilt."
And in a nod to the throngs of New York expats in Florida, Adams said, "And no one does a party like New York. So everyone who moved to Florida, get your butts back to New York City because New York City is where you want to be!"
While on stage, Adams stood next to model Cara Delevigne, who was dancing with a bottle of champagne in her hand.
Other bold-faced names at the party included boxer Floyd Mayweather, TV doctor-turned-political candidate Dr. Mehmet Oz, "Bachelorette" alum Tyler Cameron, "Real Housewives of New Jersey" stars Melissa and Joe Gorga, and Margaret Josephs, as well as "Real Housewives of New York" star Dorinda Medley. "The Bachelorette" alum Dale Moss, author and founder of Mama Glow Latham Thomas and Peloton star instructor Alex Toussaint also attended.
