Emmerdale spoilers follow.

Emmerdale's Nate Robinson will get himself into a sticky situation next week, as his ongoing turmoil over Tracy Metcalfe's departure leads him to make a big mistake.

Ever since Tracy (Amy Walsh) decided to leave the village for a new job in Nottingham, taking her and Nate's baby daughter Frankie with her, Nate (Jurell Carter) has been struggling to cope with their absence, particularly as his cheating was exposed shortly before Tracy left.

In scenes airing next week, Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) comes across Nate and Ryan Stocks (James Moore) at the pub, both very drunk early in the afternoon, and she quickly grows concerned about Nate's wellbeing.

Later on, Nate encounters teenager Chloe Harris (Jessie Elland) at the pub and the pair soon get cosy as they get to know each other, with Chloe feeling that the pair have chemistry.

Chloe ends up staying the night at Nate's, but he feels embarrassed when he wakes up the next morning and realises what has happened. Despite Chloe's clear attempts to snatch more time with Nate after their night together, he tries his best to dodge her advances.

As Chloe heads home from Nate's, her ex, Noah Dingle (Jack Downham), catches up with her on Main Street.

He attempts to get Chloe back on side following their recent falling-out, but when she refuses to go for a drink with him, he is left angered by the apparent lack of reward for his apology.

Later on, Chloe seeks out Nate again at Butlers Farm and flirtatiously teases him, but foul-tempered Nate simply snaps at her.

When Chloe starts to enquire about working on the farm, Nate worries that his secrets might be about to unravel. Aware that things have gone too far already, he firmly rejects Chloe's advances.

Disappointed Chloe is upset to have been so savagely rejected by Nate - is this the end of the situation, or could there be further trouble ahead for Nate?

This isn't the first time that Chloe has faced heartbreak, having previously spent the night with Jacob Gallagher (Joe-Warren Plant) only to find that Jacob later regretted the encounter.

Emmerdale airs these scenes in the week commencing Monday, April 4 on ITV.
