UFC is gearing up for its first pay-per-view event in Southeast Asia. The promotion announced on Tuesday morning that UFC 275 is Singapore-bound. The card takes place at Singapore Indoor Stadium on Sunday, June 12, but will air live in the United States on Saturday, June 11.

UFC 275 is headlined by a long-planned UFC light heavyweight title match pitting champion Glover Teixeira vs. Jiri Prochazka. In the co-main event, UFC women's flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko hopes to continue her run of dominance against rising contender Taila Santos. Former UFC middleweight champion Robert Whittaker, fresh off a closely fought decision loss to Israel Adesanya, takes on Marvin Vettori.

The promotion previously held a UFC Fight Night card featuring Demian Maia vs. Ben Askren at the same venue in 2019. UFC officially made their Singapore debut with a Fight Night headlined by Tarec Saffiedine and Hyun Gyu Lim in 2014.

Teixeira (33-7) is on the best run of his UFC career. He enters UFC 275 on a six-fight winning streak and recently dethroned Jan Blachowicz for the UFC light heavyweight championship two days after turning 41. Prochazka (28-3-1) has exhibited sheer violence since joining the UFC in 2020. The inaugural Rizin light heavyweight champion has knocked out Dominick Reyes and Volkan Oezdemir in his two UFC appearances.

Shevchenko (22-3) seeks to claim her seventh title defense in June. She has successfully turned back every challenger to date with relative ease and her only losses in the last 11 years are to women's featherweight champion Amanda Nunes. Santos (19-1) has impressed UFC brass with her near spotless record. Following a shaky start in her UFC debut, Santos strung together four consecutive wins, capped off by a first-round submission win over Joanne Wood.
