Nesmith entered the starting five with Jayson Tatum (knee) sidelined, and he didn't come close to absorbing Tatum's usual production. Although the Celtics have depth in the backcourt, the squad is particularly vulnerable when elite players like Tatum and Jaylen Brown (knee) are out of the lineup.
