The "In Memoriam" section of the Oscars once again missed out on a major name during the segment. During Sunday's show, Bob Saget — the beloved "Full House" actor and comedian — did not appear in the slideshow of names of those who passed away in the last year.Despite the previous altercation that took up plenty of attention from audiences, fans didn't miss a beat in taking to Twitter to voice their complaints about his exclusion from the presentation. While Saget was primarily known for TV, he did direct the comedy film "Dirty Work" and the spoof documentary "Farce of the Penguins." "Mary Tyler Moore" star Ed Asner and comedian Norm McDonald, who had roles in “Dr. Dolittle,” “Grown Ups,” “Billy Madison” and “Back to Norm," did not make the cut either. Fans also spotted that Meat Loaf was absent from the list, even though he memorably played Eddie the biker in "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" and the driver in "Spice World." One fan said: "As moving as the Oscars tribute In Memoriam was, I am absolutely FURIOUS that they did not include Meat Loaf. They included other singer-actors among them but not him. I will never forget Meat and his contributions to music and movies." It has become a yearly controversy when The Academy and other awards organizers have missed including someone who'd passed in their memorial montage. In recent years, "Glee" star Naya Rivera and "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" actor Luke Perry were missed, while the BAFTAs officials defended leaving out Dame Diana Rigg from its annual tribute because they felt she was more associated with TV than film.Other notable Oscars memorial snubs from years past include "Austin Powers" star Verne Troyer, "Batman" star Adam West and Alexis Arquette. The memorial segment aired just after a tense moment where Best Actor winner Will Smith confronted Chris Rock on stage. Regina Hall, Amy Schumer and Wanda Sykes hosted the 94th Academy Awards from the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.
