Tayshia Adams is taking a break from The Bachelor franchise

Tayshia Adams has been in the spotlight ever since she was a contestant on Colton Underwood’s season of The Bachelor. Things didn’t go so well there, but she eventually went on to be the Bachelorette, and then a host alongside Kaitlyn Bristowe. It’s been a long few years and it hasn’t been easy on the former Bachelorette.

She left The Bachelorette engaged to Zac Clark, but the couple called it off last year. It seemed like a very emotional breakup but it hasn’t prevented Tayshia Adams from forging ahead. In fact, she’s looking to the future with the intention of putting this franchise behind her–for now.

There’s always that chance that she could return in some capacity, but for the time being, she’s ready for the next thing, whatever that may be. Perhaps her own talk show? I could totally see her doing something like that!

What are Tayshia Adams’ future plans?

While on The Drew Barrymore Show, Adams shared that she doesn’t see Bachelor Nation in her near future:

“Truthfully, that’s the million-dollar question. I have to say at least that that time for me really served me. So, it’s taken up a lot of me time for the last four years. I’m ready to just, do the next thing.”

She hasn’t written it off just yet and claimed “it’s a pause”, but for now, there are other things going on.

Tayshia’s decision to put things on pause comes a couple of months after her decision to leave two Bachelor Nation podcasts, Click Bait and Bachelor Happy Hour. She was the co-host on both of them but ultimately needed to take a break after her breakup with Clark went public.

My heart goes out to Tayshia Adams who has dealt with a lot over the last four years, but perhaps this much-needed break will be exactly the thing she needs to get back on track. Here’s to hoping things are on the up and up!
