Giorgio Armani Celebrated Nicole Kidman’s Oscar Nomination at its New L.A. Flagship
Los Angeles this week has been pulsing with intimate dinners and buzzy parties leading up to the Oscars. Last night, the reopening of Giorgio Armani’s flagship boutique on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills was one of the places to be; the store’s unveiling coincided with a private cocktail party hosted by Roberta Armani in celebration of Nicole Kidman’s Oscar nomination for her role as Lucille Ball in Being The Ricardos.
In true Los Angeles fashion, bands of onlookers crowded outside the beautifully renovated flagship as guests arrived, hoping to snap content of one of their favorite celebrities. In attendance were Nicole Kidman, Adrien Brody, Sophia Loren, Karolina Kurkova, Miles Teller and Keleigh Sperry, Victoria Pedretti, Tiffany Haddish, Barbara Palvin and Dylan Sprouse, Olivia Culpo, and more.
While aspects of the store’s original build from 1988 remained, the interior feels entirely new. Elements like the marble and onyx floors create an eye-catching setting for the store’s offerings. On the ground floor, guests sipped cocktails and champagne as they kissed cheeks and perused the assortment of sparkling, paillette and crystal-adorned gowns and dresses designed as part of an exclusive eveningwear capsule to mark the boutiques reopening. The pieces served as the perfect backdrop for an exciting and glitzy lead-up to the Oscars. \
