Peterson scored a goal on two shots in Saturday's 4-1 loss to the Canucks.

Peterson was a healthy scratch Thursday versus the Hurricanes, and he saw just 9:44 of ice time Saturday despite being the Stars' lone goal-scorer. The 22-year-old has three points in his last four outings, and he's up to 11 goals, four helpers, 72 shots on net and an even plus-minus rating through 53 contests. Peterson is likely to be in the lineup more often than not, but he'll have to fend off challenges from Marian Studenic and Joel Kiviranta for his bottom-six role.
