HILBERT - Hilbert High School Athletic Director and Baseball Coach Stan Diedrich said no boys from Stockbridge High School have come out for the cooperative baseball team this year, and so all varsity home games will be played at Hilbert Civic Park instead of at Stockbridge High School.

In addition, Diedrich said there are only 19 players out for baseball, and that's not enough to have a stand-alone junior varsity team with its own schedule.

"Part of the issue is we do not have any players from Stockbridge and we have two [Hilbert] classes with low numbers of students..." Diedrich said.

He is contacting opponents to see if they would be interested in having exhibition JV innings after varsity games have been completed.
